10th - 12th Grades

Master's Company

Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 6:30pm - 8:30pm and Saturday afternoons from 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Additional rehearsals are sometimes scheduled, depending upon the needs of the production.

The Masters Company is an auditioned company of 10th, 11th and 12th graders who have a serious commitment to theater arts and to YPPC. 10th graders also need to have had at least one year of acting classes at YPPC, preferably in the Apprentice class.

We usually present a one-act family audience play for CenterFest in the WTVD theatre, 2-3 full length productions and a production of student directed one-act plays in the Spring.

There is no fee for membership in the Masters Company, but members are expected to participate in three or more productions during the school year or two productions and the Summer Music Theater Camp, for which they pay a reduced fee.

Masters Company members are expected to be on time for rehearsals, meet line deadlines, help with technical duties for Master's plays and contribute 10 hours of work to YPPC, which usually involves helping during the production week of one of the younger groups shows.

Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 6:30pm - 8:30pm (dress rehearsals 6-9) and Saturday afternoons from 3:30pm - 5:30pm or 6:00pm, although this may change depending upon the needs of the production.
