2018 Summer Drama and Music Theatre Camp

Young Artist Music Theater Camp
Rising 5th-9th Grades
Meets June 11th-June 29th   Monday-Friday 9:00-3:00PM
Supervised drop off time: 8:30-9:00  Students bring lunch
Fee: $375 for 3 weeks (includes registration fee)

Acting, Dance and Vocal Instruction
Culminating in 3 performances of a musical:
tentatively ”Oliver” based on Charles Dickens’ novel
Book, Music and Lyrics by Lionel Bart

Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, June 28th until 5:30PM

Performances: Friday & Saturday, July 29th & 30th at 7:30PM
and Sunday, July 1st at 3:00PM
Students must be available for all three performances.


Young Artist Drama Camp
Rising 4th-8th Grades
Meets July 2nd- 13th Monday–Friday from 9:00AM-3:00PM
Supervised drop off time: 8:30-9:00am Students bring lunch
No Camp Wednesday, July 4th
Fee: $225 per 2 weeks (includes $25 registration fee)

Acting Games, Improvisation and Rehearsal
culminating in 2 performances (non-musical tba)

Performances: Friday, July  13rd at 7:30PM

and Saturday, July 14th at 3:00PM
Students must be available for both performances.


Music Theatre Camp
Rising 9th - 12th Grades and 2018 graduates

Meets July 16th-August 3rd  Mon. – Fri. 12:30-5:30PM
Plus 4 performances (2 weekends)
Fee: $375 for 3 weeks (includes $25 registration fee)

Current Masters Company members: $200
Acting, Dance and Vocal Instruction culminating
in a full-length musical, tentatively
“Little Women, the Musical
Music: ; Book by Allan Knee; Music by Jason Howard;
and Lyrics by Mindi Dickstein
Music Rehearsal: Thursday, August 2nd 5:30-9:15PM

Performances: Saturday, Friday and Saturday

August 4th, 10th and 11th at 7:30PM
And Sunday, August 5th at 2:30PM
Students must be available for all 4 performances and
production week rehearsals, including evening rehearsals.

Registration forms are available online here or at the Durham Arts council Building, or you can email Jeffryn Stephens: jstephens353@nc.rr.com. There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee required for all Summer Camps and subtracted from the total fee. Total fee is due the first day of class unless other arrangements are made with the director.

Scholarships and Discount
Partial and full scholarships are available (minus registration fee)
based on need, commitment and/or ability. There is also a 20% discount available for siblings, subtracted from the lesser fee.

All Classes, rehearsals and performances are held in the
WTVD theatre in the Durham Arts Council Building
